Fan Aliases: Kamikaze Bird, Stone Smasher, Powerbomb Bird, Bomb Bird, Black Bomb, Gangster Bird, Terrorist Bird, Exploding Bird. Group
Affiliation: The Flock, The Flock in Space Best Friends: Terence (possibly), Red Bird
Personality
While most all of the Flock have a short temper when it comes to egg theft and smuggled birds, Bob has the worst temper of them all. He loses his "explosive" temper easily and often. As a result, Bob tends to be a loner, preferring to remain away from the Flock, as he does not want to be stressed with their problems. (Another possible reason is that he doesn't want to accidentaly blow up everyone else). Despite this, he is always ready to help should an emergency be called. His power is the strongest out of all the pigs. He also seems to be a very intelligent bird and a good chef, despite that fact that he thinks no one likes the "new-age cooking"(as seen in the comics).
History
Little is known about Bob’s history before the events of the first Angry Birds game or how he acquired the power of "mega shock wave," the ability to incinerate items within a radius of his body. When enraged, his top feather will begin to smoke. He will eventually turn red, then explode with anger. In the course of the battles with the Birds, he has traveled to many different locations and environments, including the desert, underground caves and beaches. The Birds never rest in their quest to steal eggs and the Flock often has to retrieve their eggs on holidays and special occasions. In one instance, the Birds captured the entire Flock, including Bob. It was only for the actions of Terence, the Big Brother Bird that the Flock was freed. At an indeterminate time later, the Flock was captured as rare pigs and taken to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where they fought with Blu and Jewel and their friends against Nigel the Cockatoo and Mauro and his gang of marmosets. Bob and White Bird did not appear originally in Rio, but arrived shortly after the others, so it is possible they were either captured at a later time or they were not captured originally and made their way to Rio to find Red Bird, Yellow Bird and Blue Bird.
Angry Birds is a strategy puzzle video game developed by Finnish computer game developer Rovio Entertainment. Inspired primarily by a sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first released for Apple's iOS in December 2009. Since that time, over 12 million copies of the game have been purchased from Apple's App Store, which has prompted the company to design versions for other touchscreen-based smartphones, such as those using the Android operating system, among others. In the game, players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playing field. As players advance through the game, new birds appear, some with special abilities that can be activated by the player. Rovio Mobile has supported Angry Birds with numerous free updates that add additional game content, and the company has also released stand-alone holiday and promotional versions of the game. Angry Birds has been praised for its successful combination of addictive gameplay, comical style, and low price. Its popularity led to versions of Angry Birds being created for personal computers and gaming consoles, a market for merchandise featuring its characters and even long-term plans for a feature film or television series. With a combined 1 billion downloads across all platforms and including both regular and special editions, the game has been called "one of the most mainstream games out right now", "one of the great runaway hits of 2010", and "the largest mobile app success the world has seen so far".
